We’re not your average support crew — and that’s exactly how we like it.
At Not Boring Supports, every day is about connection, growth, and good vibes. You’ll be part of a passionate team that genuinely cares — about our clients, our community, and each other. Whether you’re supporting someone to gain independence, learn a new skill, or simply have a great day, what you do matters.
We’re big on collaboration, inclusion, and doing things with heart (and humour). If you’re ready to make an impact and be part of a workplace that actually lives up to its name — join the Not Boring Team today.

Not Boring Supports was created by Glen and Carmela Baxter — a husband-and-wife team driven by lived experience, community connection, and the belief that disability support should be anything but ordinary.
Their journey in the disability sector is deeply personal. Having navigated their own challenges, Glen and Carmela understand that true independence and confidence come from connection, opportunity, and the belief that everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.
What started as a vision to do things differently has grown into a movement that celebrates ability, inclusion, and opportunity. Together, they’ve built more than a service — they’ve built a community where people feel seen, supported, and valued.
Their combined strengths make Not Boring what it is today: Carmela’s creativity and hospitality background bring warmth and innovation, while Glen’s resilience and lived experience bring strength, empathy, and purpose.
Every program, initiative, and coffee poured at The Not Boring Kitchen reflects their shared belief that support should feel human, hopeful, and full of heart.
Through their leadership, Glen and Carmela continue to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and inspire others to live boldly, connect deeply, and be unapologetically Not Boring.

Carmela Baxter is the heart and driving force behind Not Boring Supports and The Not Boring Kitchen — two bold, community-driven initiatives creating opportunities for people living with disability to build skills, confidence, and connection.
With over 20 years in hospitality and a deeply personal connection to the disability sector, Carmela combines compassion with action. Her background brings a unique perspective — blending practical, hands-on support with the warmth of true hospitality.
From designing Social Skills programs to building a commercial for teaching, kitchen and espresso bar, Carmela is redefining what disability support can look like: real, meaningful, and full of community spirit.
Her leadership is grounded in authenticity, creativity, and fierce advocacy. Every project she leads — whether it’s training programs, partnerships, or community events — reflects her unwavering belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported.
Carmela’s passion continues to inspire her team, her community, and the many individuals and families whose lives have been changed by the Not Boring way.

Standing beside Carmela every step of the way, Glen Baxter brings resilience, heart, and lived experience to the Not Boring story. His unwavering determination and commitment to advocating for people with disabilities make him an inspiring role model — both within the organisation and throughout the community.
Having faced the challenges of vision impairment firsthand, Glen understands the importance of access, inclusion, and opportunity. His lived experience continues to shape the way Not Boring Supports operates — grounded in empathy, equality, and the belief that everyone deserves to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Beyond his advocacy, Glen is a passionate athlete — excelling in cycling, archery, and air rifle shooting. His achievements reflect his belief that disability should never define what’s possible. Through his dedication and persistence, he inspires others to see beyond limitations and discover their own potential.
Glen’s story embodies the spirit of Not Boring: strength through connection, courage through community, and the understanding that with the right mindset, anything is possible.
